/ Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will this fight be settled anytime soon. Many find it strange why HK is trying so hard to stand up to our government and CY. Politics aside, we have made it clear that we don't want, don't need China to dictate our choices. So many are whining about how they haven't been making money these couple of days. Making money? From who? From all the mainlanders taking over our streets and squatting in our malls. All these designer shops relying, catering and profiting just from them. Those whining have never put HK, their own people, as a priority. Rather be kissing ass to mainlanders as they spill their pockets at the counter, then complain about how rude and uncivilised they are behind their backs but more than happy to suck it up 9-5 for the $$$$. I think we've all had enough of that. Sorry for any inconvenience caused but democracy is ours, so we'll make our own mistakes, and we'll make our own decisions. There are flaws in it, but don't worry, we'll embrace them.
